Description

Description

This beautiful terracotta plant pot with its uniquely striped glazing originated from the pottery town of Castelnaudary in the South West of France.

These pots have drainage holes from when they were first produced, therefore they could have been used as either “cache pots” or actually had plants growing directly within them.
They were produced from the mid 19th to early 20th century.
A fine piece of historic French pottery for your home or garden.

Wear consistent with age.
