A pair of solid Bronze Terrier bookends dating from c1910. 

Signed Heinrich W. Hirschler, an Austrian born artist/maker. b.1863 – d.1925.

Each in the form of a Terrier dog (possibly Irish) standing proud with tail pointing in the air and ears perked up, as if stalking or hunting. 

These intricately detailed pieces, clearly required incredible patience and craftsmanship and will make a unique and fascinating addition to any collection or library.
