A very fine pair of Victorian Terrestrial & Celestial Globes by Bale and Woodward, London, England. Supported on mahogany turned columns onto trio platform bases with bun feet. 6 ½ inches and both inscribed: “A new terrestrial Globe, published by G. Woodward, London 1845” and “Bale & Woodward New Celestial Globe.” Celestial Globe c. 1850. Provenance: From the Estate of Jack Gamble, the Belfast Antiquarian Book Seller.
