This beautiful porcelain ginger jar is under-glazed with a cobalt blue and designed with plum blossoms, symbolizing the coming of spring. Likey from Jingdezhen, known for its porcelain production. The plum blossom design is a typical Chinese motif representing resilience and renewal.

The item is in incredible condition for its age.

One very small chip on the inside of the lid, as shown in the photo.
