Bust of Apollo Head

Description

This bust depicts Apollo, the Greek god of the sun, music, poetry, prophecy, and healing, with his head turned to the left. He is adorned in a draped robe, secured at the shoulder with a medallion. Crafted from Parian, it rests elegantly atop a black wooden base. The name “Apollo” is inscribed at the base of the sculpture, paying homage to one of the most revered deities of Greek mythology, known for his beauty, wisdom, and artistry. Very good antique condition. The bust is not attached to the wooden base.
