19th Century North Country Framed Quilt

Description

Hard to find these days in such good condition. 
Here we have a wonderful Framed North Country Patchwork Quilt which probably dates from the mid 1800’s worthy of any collection.
A large array of period fabrics are carefully arranged in this Framed Quilt. 
The fabrics are both plain and printed some may date before the 1850’s !

There are a few small faded areas on the purple fabric but this is barely noticeable.

Carefully hand quilted with traditional designs from the North of England. 
Excellent Condition and a good weight. 
Reverse is a plain cotton.
