Dates from 1890/1900, this quilt displays English paper piecing at its best, a delightful antique quilt with a stunning array of Victorian fabrics. Hundreds of small hexagons joined together to create hand quilted flowers with a lovely border of Victorian cottons. The various prints and fabrics used create a pleasing quilt to look at. A large size in excellent condition for its age, a piece of English textile history to treasure.
