Vintage American Rocky Road to California/Jacob’s Ladder variation pattern quilt. Made with varied fabric remnants that possibly date from over a period of 20 years, between 1930s and 1950s, including feedsack and later patterned fabrics. Small scale quilt in wonderfully soft, clean cottons. Each block framed with a beautiful soft green gingham. Hand quilted with hand turned edge. Diagonal close grid pattern quilting throughout. Approx. 73 x 59 inches/ 185.5 x 150 cm.
