Helen Booth is a contemporary painter living and working in South West Wales. She studied Fine Art Painting at Wimbledon School of Art (1986-1989) under Bernard Cohen, George Blacklock and Prunella Clough. Her primary medium is oil paint on canvas, and her recent work is largely abstract. These paintings embody a meeting place between landscape and abstraction, and are representative of a consistent tendency toward a restricted palate in Booth’s work.
