c. 1880s Broken Dishes pattern quilt in soft indigo and white fabrics. Blue gingham reverse and striking sawtooth border. Expertly hand pieced and hand quilted. Beautiful grid and straight line pattern quilting. Delicately patterned indigo and white fabrics with varied motifs and wonderful consistency of tone. Enriched by occasional red accents in white fabrics. Excellent condition. Approx. 75 x 73 inches / 190 x 185 cm.
